Club Awards 2019
IT was another champagne year for Val Lambert who had a superb
championship double, collecting both Ladies Singles trophies - the League and the Knockout.
Also, by becoming club knockout champion Val completed a momentus treble – having won this title for the previous two years.

Vera Davies took the Runner-up spot in the Ladies Singles League - a reverse of last year.
Congratulations to Trevor Woodham in gaining his first club
- and in doing so completed a championship
Trevor won the Men’s Singles League, in which Andy Doughton was Runner-up.
Trevor Woodham also was a winner in the Pairs Knockout trophy, along with partner Janet Cross

The Men's knockout championship was won by Derek Spence

After two runners-up prizes, Tony Britton got a winner's gong when collecting the Memorial Day Pairs Trophy along with Janet Cross,
(pictured below) which also gained her a second pairs trophy win......

The Claret Jug presentation
The President's Cup this year was awarded to Fred Parsons.
In presenting the 'Claret Jug', club captain Alan Dell said that this is in recognition of Fred's services, not only as Secretary, but for his endeavours in promoting the club and managing our website.
